Product Description The legendary US alternative and lo-fi band Pavement's biographical film, 'Pavements', now has a must-have soundtrack for fans! Pavement is a legendary band from the US alternative and lo-fi scene, and after reuniting in 2022, they toured Japan the following year, 2023, and have a large fan base not only worldwide but also in Japan. The soundtrack to the biographical film 'Pavements', released in 2024, is now available from Matador Records. Pavement consists of five members: Mark Ibold, Spiral Stairs (Scott Kernberg), Stephen Malkmus, Bob Nastanovich, and Steve West. One of the most beloved bands to emerge from the American underground in the 1990s, they released five era-defining albums: 'Slanted & Enchanted' (1992), 'Crooked Rain, Crooked Rain' (1994), 'Wowee Zowee' (1995), 'Brighten The Corners' (1997), and 'Terror Twilight' (1999), before disbanding in 1999. They reunited in 2022, headlining Primavera Sound and playing sold-out multi-night shows in Los Angeles, New York, and London, and in 2023, they held their first Japan tour in 13 years, successfully performing two shows in Tokyo and one in Osaka. The soundtrack for the film "Pavements" was compiled by producer/editor Robert Greene and the band, bringing together various elements from the film?snippets of dialogue, scenes from the Oscar-contending fake biopic "Range Life," cast recordings from the jukebox musical "Slanted! Enchanted!", and live and rehearsal recordings from their 2021 reunion tour. The full band performance was mixed by Bryce Gorgin, who has worked on Pavements classics such as "Crooked Rain, Crooked Rain," "Wowee Zowee," and "Brighten the Corners." [Disc1] 01.
