Contents Introduction Felix Kubin, a genius now widely recognized as one of the most important figures in the German music scene, released his first solo album, "Filmmusik," as the title suggests. This album is a collection of music composed for film and television, released in 1998 as the first release on Kubin's own label, Gagarin Records. It includes music written by Kubin for two experimental animated films by his partner, Polish filmmaker Mariola Brylowska: the short film "Di Contro-Contras" (1997), featuring Bonrosso, a devilish child who burns his parents to death in a pizza box, and the feature film "Katarina and Wit: Fiction and Reality" (1997), about Interpol investigators pursuing an art theft case. The album also includes a soundtrack composed by G?nther Rezniczek, the director of the film "Bloody Nerve." This album was selected as one of the top 100 albums of the 1990s by the renowned online magazine "FACT." The impact this album had at the end of the 20th century is immeasurable. This release replaces the bonus tracks with those from the previous CD version and includes additional tracks.
