Since the early 2000s, I AM Robot and Proud (IARAP), the project of Toronto-born Shaw-Han Liem, has continued to fascinate many listeners and creators across genres and generations, not just electronica and Western music listeners. In recent years, IARAP's reputation as a visual and sound artist has been rising with his posts that link video and sound through his own programming, while his music is also frequently heard in media such as news and information programs, as well as in shops. Now, IARAP's long-awaited 8th album, his first in six and a half years since the long-selling "Lucky Static," is finally complete. While inheriting the direction of the landmark "Lucky Static," which opened new doors with an organic sound that skillfully blends electric and acoustic elements more than ever before and successfully attracted many new listeners, this album has achieved another overwhelming evolution and deepening. All 10 tracks feature incredibly detailed and endlessly pleasant tones, melodies, and rhythms, and exquisite sound design that thoroughly eliminates unnecessary elements and makes the most of the space.
