Content Introduction: Akamatsu, a music project by French multi-instrumentalist R?mi Qu?ron, presents a masterpiece of instrumental music that fuses electronica, jazz, and post-classical elements. On September 26th, Akamatsu, the music project by French composer and multi-instrumentalist R?mi Qu?ron, will release its third album, "Seminky." Akamatsu debuted with the compilation album "Erik Satie et les Nouveaux Jeunes" alongside world-renowned post-classical artists such as Nils Frahm, Rachel Grimes, Julia Kent, and Sylvain Chauveau. After releasing two electronica albums characterized by their meticulously designed, fantastical sounds, Akamatsu created this album, "Seminky," which means "seed" in Czech, with French and Czech musicians, focusing on acoustic instrument performances. The album features a collection of masterpieces characterized by its experimental yet catchy and borderless musicality, including the slightly retro-sounding human-powered electronica track "Saint Loup," the instrumental rock track "Cuisine-Chimie" with its tight, jazzy rhythm section reminiscent of Tortoise and Jaga Jazzist, and its symphonic synthesizer and horn sections, elegant neoclassical pieces like the piano and guitar-based "Novembre" and "Volyne" which adds strings to a band sound, and "Schneider Swing" which evokes the groove of early techno like Underworld. This is a masterpiece of jazz, electronica, post-classical, and psychedelic pop that we can confidently recommend to fans of Human Pyramids and Haiku Salut, who have released works on the Ricco Label. This release comes in a limited edition box set designed by painter H?lo?se Robin. The CD comes with three beautiful cards printed with poems by Anna?ck Domergue and photographs taken by R?mi Qu?ro himself, which can also be heard on the album, and one card containing the album credits and handwritten self-liner notes by R?mi Qu?ro.
