He fuses the elegance and precision of post-classical music with the subtle textures of early 2000s electronics, unfolding deep and vivid melodic lines. This work, which has changed from the sound collage of field recordings found in his previous work "Everis" to a clearer composition, leaves a soft yet certain impression, like a landscape reflected on the surface of still water, and seems to evoke the essence of image albums that were once made in Japan. The album features guest appearances from Meg Baird, also known as a member of Espers, and Julianna Barwick, a close friend, on vocals. Henning Schmiedt, Danny Norbury, Glim, and Arisa Yokote also participate, continuing from their previous work. aus is from Tokyo. He has been creating music for experimental video works since his teens. He quickly gained attention overseas and debuted on an independent label in New York. He had been on a long hiatus from his own music activities, but last year he released a new single, "Until Then," in collaboration with All My Thoughts, led by popular jazzy deep house artist Seb Wildblood, and FLAU. In April of the same year, he released his first full album in 15 years, "Everis," on the prestigious British label Lo Recordings, which has released works by Grimes and Susumu Yokota.
