Dee Krupps, who moved his base of operations from Germany to the UK, recorded "Entering the Arena" in 1985 as his first project in the UK, with the help of Zeus B. Held, a talented producer who has worked with Dead or Alive, among others. However, due to various circumstances, it was released as a 6-track mini-LP that did not fully reflect the musicians' intentions, and it was an unfortunate work that ended Dee Krupps' career. Now, 39 years after the release of "Game of Death," the musicians themselves have reorganized it into a full album based on the original album concept, resulting in this "True Game of Death." Featuring 12 tracks completely different from the original mini-LP, including five previously unreleased songs recorded at the time but shelved for a long period, and a 12-inch single that was planned but never materialized. This album, truly representative of Dee Krupps' style, is solid and more powerful, a highly accomplished work that allows listeners to rediscover a completely different face and style from his 1985 release. Formed in 1981 with the addition of D?rper and others, their debut album "Stahlwerksynfonie" (Steelworks Symphony), released that same year on the Zickzack label, attracted attention with its steely roaring sound, establishing them as one of the leading bands in the German music scene. They subsequently expanded their activities significantly with a major label move and a presence in the UK, growing into a big name.
