Product Description Contents: "Himatsubushi" (Killing Time), Fujio's first solo album, was recorded in December 1973, about six months after Murahachibu's final live performance in May. Fujio returned to Tokyo from Kyoto and recorded it at Elec Studio. The recording members included Mitsuo Takazawa (bass), who also wrote the lyrics, and Kiyoshi Takahashi (drums). Fujio played guitar, vocals, blues harp, bass, and percussion on this album. This masterpiece, showcasing Fujio's broad musicality and his desire to break his public image as a blues guitarist, is being reissued for the first time in eight years with the latest remastering. As Fujio mentions in his book "SO WHAT," he spent an enormous amount of time mixing and completing the trackdown, confident that he had created "an absolutely great-sounding record." However, the cutting process by the record company at the time resulted in a thin sound, and despite repeated attempts, the released record did not sound as Fujio intended, leaving him with a sense of regret. With that in mind, the limited-edition reissue of the original record released last year was created with the aim of faithfully reproducing the sound image recorded on the master, and recreating a sound as close as possible to the sound that Fujio wanted. For this CD reissue, the first in eight years, the files were digitized again from the original open-reel master when the analog record was produced last year.
