Media Reviews and More Following a change in members, Reifenstahl's second album, "Rex," which has evolved even further, is being reissued for the first time worldwide! Released in 1986 on "Der Produzentenklub," the successor label to Ink Records, this album inherits the worldview of its predecessor, which was full of collage and homage, and is a cutting-edge masterpiece that anticipates the sound of the coming new era. (C)RS About the Artist [Reifenstahl] Formed in 1979 by Gerd Gaida, who was renting out PA systems in D?sseldorf, and his classmate and teacher, Matthias Rapp. After releasing their debut single on Ink Records in 1980, they released their full album "The Secret Weapon" the following year, 1981. Later, Michael Reinhardt of Crooks and Mike Schmidt, who is also the label's owner, joined, making it a four-member band, but they disbanded once. In 1984, the second iteration of Reifenstahl was formed by Gaida, Reinhard, and Schmidt. They released the album "Rex" in 1986 on "Der Produzentenklub," the successor label to Ink Records, before going on hiatus.
