Includes an interview with Chen Shinki, the central figure of the band, where he tells the story of the supergroup. (Released in 1972) Like its predecessor, it is a masterpiece of smoky, powerful hard rock blues that is unlike anything typically heard from Japanese musicians. In addition, this album includes many songs produced by Joey Smith and Michael Hanopoulo, who joined the band from the second album onwards, including an avant-garde and unique track developed solely with a Moog synthesizer. There is also a diverse lineup including a harpsichord solo by Shigeki Watanabe. Guest appearances by Shigeki Watanabe (key) and Hiroshi Oguchi (dr). Song for Angels About the Artist SPEED, GLUE & SHINKI Formed in Yokohama in 1971, Speed, Glue & Shinki is a heavy psychedelic blues band centered around guitarist Shinki Chen, who had previously played in Powerhouse and Food Brain, along with Masayoshi Kabe (Glue), who was also a member of The Golden Cups before joining Food Brain, and American drummer and vocalist Joey Smith (Speed). They debuted with "Eve - The Night Before -". In 1972, they released the double album masterpiece "Speed, Glue & Shinki". The two original albums released during their short activity period of just under two years continue to receive high praise both domestically and internationally.
