Phil Campbell, the legendary guitarist who supported Mot?rhead for over 30 years. Following Lemmy's death, Mot?rhead sadly disbanded. While Phil produced solo albums featuring big names like Rob Halford and Dee Snider, he also formed the Phil Campbell's All-Star Band with his three sons. In 2016, they performed at Wacken Open Air, showcasing many of Mot?rhead's classic songs. Later, they changed their name to Phil Campbell and the Bastard Sons. After releasing a self-titled EP in 2016, Phil Campbell and the Bastard Sons signed with major German label Nuclear Blast. Their debut album, "The Age of Absordity," came in 2018. Their second album, "We Are the Bastards," released in 2020, was a diverse work, featuring not only Mot?rhead-esque tracks but also bluesy and stoner-rock-influenced songs. Now, Phil Campbell and the Bastard Sons are releasing a live album. Titled "Live in the North," the album captures their 2021 UK performance. In addition to the Phil family, it features newly joined vocalist Joe Peters. The album includes 15 tracks in total, featuring Phil Campbell and the Bastards' own songs, as well as Mot?rhead classics like "Ace of Spades" and "Killed by Death," and even Hawkwind's "Silver Machine."
