Scar Symmetry is a Swedish melodic death metal band formed in 2004. With members who have played in famous bands such as Carnal Forge, they immediately signed with the prestigious American label Metal Blade. The following year, 2005, they made their album debut with 'Symmetric in Design'. Their unique style of melodic death metal garnered significant attention. After signing with Nuclear Blast, Europe's largest metal label, they consistently released high-quality albums such as 'Pitch Black Progress' (2006), 'Holographic Universe' (2008), 'Dark Matter Dimensions' (2009), and 'The Unseen Empire' (2011). In particular, 'The Singularity (Phase I: Neohumanity)' (2014), the first installment of their AI-themed trilogy, received extremely high praise from both fans and the media.
