It was originally a project started by Olof Wikstrand, a rare metal enthusiast, who was impressed by Venom and Exciter. The songs he uploaded to MySpace, a thriving social networking service at the time, recorded 300,000 plays in six months. After that, they formed a band and made their album debut in 2008 with "Into the Night," and were warmly welcomed by metal fans around the world as the savior of orthodox heavy metal. Their second album, "Diamonds" (2010), was released by Earache. After signing with the major label Nuclear Blast, they released three albums: 'Death by Fire' (2013), 'From Beyond' (2015), and 'Zenith' (2019), as well as a live album, 'Live by Fire II' (2021). Now, they are releasing their first new album in four years, 'Nostalgia'.
