Deathless Legacy is an Italian symphonic metal band fronted by female vocalist Stiva. They originally started out in 2006 under the name Deathless. If you look closely at the word "Deathless," doesn't another Italian band name come to mind? That's right, Death SS. They started out as a Death SS tribute band! After that, they began writing original songs, and in 2013, they changed their name to the current Deathless Legacy and released their debut album, "Rise from the Grave." This caught the attention of local Italian label Scarlett Records, and in 2016 they released their second album, "The Gathering." Since then, they have continued to release truly Italian works such as "Dance with Devils" (2017) and "Rituals of Black Magic" (2018). Now, their new album, "Marter Larvalm," is being released. Starting as a Death SS tribute band, they have since boldly incorporated influences from gothic metal and progressive rock. Their horror-flavored symphonic metal sound could be described as a dark side version of Epica. It is a style that could only have been born in Italy, a country that is both a center of classical music and a mecca for horror.
