In 2020, their vocalist, Ronnie Atkins, announced that he had been diagnosed with stage 4 cancer, shocking fans. However, Ronnie, who "chose to stay strong, set goals, and continue living while pursuing his dreams," produced his first solo album, 'One Shot', in 2021. Featuring numerous guests, including current and former Pretty Maids members, this album is a magnificent culmination of his work. Furthermore, in March 2022, he released his second album, 'Make It Count'. As expected, Ronnie's true nature shines through in this work, which features many guest musicians, as he insists that "melody is the top priority."
