Product Description
Introduction Venom, the source of all extreme metal. Venom Inc., led by Mantas, who inherits that spirit, is releasing a new album. The title itself reflects the founder's determination, making this a must-listen for extreme metal fans! Compared to Metallica and Slayer, Venom may be a minor presence. However, the magnitude of Venom's achievements is no less than that of Metallica and Slayer. In fact, if Venom hadn't existed, Metallica and Slayer might not have existed, or if they did, they might have played completely different music. Venom's debut album, "Welcome to Hell," released in 1981, changed the history of heavy metal. "Witching Hour," included on that album, can be said to be the world's first thrash song. Furthermore, their second album the following year, "Black Metal," had a title that later became a genre in itself. In short, Venom is the source of all extreme metal, including thrash metal, and subsequent death and black metal. Now, Venom Inc. is releasing their second album, "There's Only Black." Yes, we're introducing Venom Inc., not Venom. Some of you might be thinking, "What's that?" but Venom, like many other bands, has split into two factions. The three members from their golden age split into Kronos (B, Vo) and Mantas (G) + Abaddon (Dr), with the former inheriting the name Venom. The latter, with former Venom frontman The Demolition Man, became Venom Inc. Venom Inc.'s initial concept was to play Venom classics live, but they ended up making their album debut in 2017 with "Ave." And now, after five years, they are releasing a new album. After the release of "Ave," Abaddon left the band after a falling out with Mantas, showing true Venom spirit. But there's no need to worry. Jeremy Kling, who joined as his successor, delivers drumming that's just as chaotic as Abaddon's. While you often hear people say, "It's not the same without Kronos on vocals," almost all of Venom's early hit songs were written by Mantas. In that sense, Venom Inc. can be said to be the rightful successor to the Venom spirit. The title itself, "There's Only Black," hints at the confidence, pride, and determination of the pioneers of black metal. A must-listen for extreme metal fans!
