Twisted Sister's third album, 'Stay Hungry' (1984), which includes the super-hit "We're Not Gonna Take It," sold over 3 million copies in the US. Leading such a band, Dee Snider is undoubtedly one of the world's top singers in terms of both popularity and talent. Twisted Sister disbanded in 1988 but reformed in 1997. They released re-recorded albums and continue to bring smiles to HR/HM fans worldwide by performing their numerous hit songs. However, in 2015, drummer A.J. Pero sadly passed away. Having lost a member with whom they had shared many years of joys and sorrows, they decided to disband. Even after the band broke up, Dee Snider continued his solo career. Supporting him throughout this time is Jamie Jasta of Hatebreed. While Twisted Sister was a combination of metal and glam, Dee, as a solo artist, teamed up with Jamie and actively incorporated extreme metal such as thrash metal, tuning his sound for the 21st century. Jamie produced "For the Love of Metal" (2018), in which the tremendous heaviness and Dee's powerful vocals perfectly matched, creating a masterpiece that knocked out metal fans around the world. And now, the long-awaited new album "Leave a Scar" is being released. Of course, Jamie is backing him up once again. This album, which kicks off with the anthemic track "I Gotta Rock (Again)," a title so typical of Dee Snider, is a masterpiece that showcases the chemistry between Dee and Jamie's worldviews, just like its predecessor, and can truly be called 21st-century heavy metal.
