Contents Introduction The second album from Phil Campbell and the Bastard Sons, the band formed by Phil Campbell, the guitarist who supported Mot?rhead for over 30 years, and his sons, is finally here. Inheriting the world of Mot?rhead while incorporating blues and stoner rock, this robust rock and roll will surely make everyone want to nod their heads! There's little need to explain about Phil Campbell, the guitarist who supported Mot?rhead for over 30 years. In 2015, Mot?rhead disbanded following the death of Lemmy, much to the regret of their fans. While Phil worked on solo albums featuring Rob Halford and Dee Snider as guests, he also formed the Phil Campbell's All-Starr Band with his three sons. In 2016, they performed at the massive German festival, Wacken Open Air, showcasing many of Mot?rhead's classic songs. Later, the band was renamed Phil Campbell and the Bastard Sons. After releasing a self-titled EP in 2016, they signed with major German label Nuclear Blast. Their debut album, "The Age of Absordity," released in 2018, basically followed the Mot?rhead style (some tracks were even blatantly Mot?rhead-esque), and was a ray of hope for fans suffering from Mot?rhead withdrawal. And now, their second album, "We Are the Busters," is being released. The album title itself is powerful, as there were no other candidates. The songs included here are a bit more varied than on the first album. You can hear not only songs that are very Mot?rhead-like, but also bluesy tracks, and even some stoner rock-like songs. However, the backbone of all of them is powerful rock and roll. It is full of truly Phil Campbell-esque guitar playing, and listening to it will make everyone want to nod their heads. This is what rock is supposed to be.
