Septicflesh, the Greek symphonic death metal band, was formed in 1990, centered around Seth Silo Anton (bass/vocals), Christos Antoniou (guitar), and Sotiris Anunnaki V (guitar/clean vocals). They made their album debut in 1994 with "Mystic Places of Dawn." At the time, they used drum machines and synthesizers. Their atmospheric and doomy death metal style, typical of their label Holy Records, gained them great popularity. After releasing their sixth album, "Sumerian Daemons," in 2003, Septicflesh temporarily disbanded, but reformed in 2007 in response to fan demand. Their 2008 album, "Communion," released under France's Season of Mist, featured a full 80-piece orchestra. Since then, they've released albums following the style of "Communion," including "The Great Mass" (2011), "Titan" (2014), and "Codex Omega" (2017). Their over-the-top death metal, always featuring full orchestras and choirs, has become synonymous with Septicflesh. Now, they are releasing a live video of Septicflesh, "Infernus Symphonica 2019." This performance, held on February 2nd, 2019, at the Metropolitan Theatre in Mexico City, featured an orchestra and choir of over 100 musicians. Septicflesh's symphonic compositions were recreated in full scale! This was Septicflesh's first live performance accompanied by a full orchestra of over 100 musicians. The excitement of this sold-out show is palpable. All 15 songs, evenly distributed from the four albums released since their reunion, are included in their entirety.
