Contents Introduction Debuting in 1982, Naniwa Express has released a selection of the best tracks from their seven original albums: five original albums released on SME ("NO FUSE" (1982), "Dai Uchuu Mugenryoku Shin" (1982), "WIND UP" (1983), "MODERN BEAT" (1984), and "SILENT SAVANNA" (1985), as well as two independent albums released after an 18-year hiatus: "life of music" (2003) and "THIS is IT!" (2004). This best-of album is a culmination of 35 years of activity for Naniwa Express, a leading force in Kansai fusion, known for their collaborations with various artists and their incorporation of R&B, hip hop, and rap. The bonus track is an unreleased version of Naniwa's signature song, "Believin'." This is a rare track recorded in 1981 and kept personally by member Kazuhiko Iwami, making it its first appearance. The simultaneously released new album "FRESH DUDE" and this work, "COOL DUDE ~BEST TRACKS OF NANIWA EXP," are planned to be a complete collaboration that transcends the boundaries of their respective record labels.
