About the Artist A project by Shohan Reem from Toronto, Canada. IARAP's sound, a trinity of soft, rounded tones, pastoral and gently moving melodies, and endlessly comfortable tempos, has continued to attract many followers since the early 2000s. His 3rd album, "the electricity in your house wants to sing" (2006), known for its penguin cover, was a huge hit in Japan, reaching number one on the Tower Records New Age chart and the iTunes Electronic Music chart. They have deep ties with Japan, having held several solo tours and performed at events such as TAICOCLUB, Asagiri JAM, Borofesta, and Nagisa Music Festival, as well as collaborating with numerous Japanese musicians.
