Content Introduction Under his real name Jamison Isaak, a new alias of Teen Daze, this work, approaching melodic and atmospheric neo-classical and tranquil ambient music with a focus on acoustics, is finally making its debut in Japan. Jamison Isaak, based in British Columbia, Canada, has explored a wide range of electronic music and synth/dream pop under the names Teen Daze and Pacific Coliseum. Since 2018, he has been working under his real name, Jamison Isaak, as a new alias, focusing on acoustic neo-classical and tranquil ambient music, showing a new phase in his career. And now, this work under the name Jamison Isaak is finally being released in Japan. This album is a Japan-only release compiling his two previously released EPs ("EP1" and "EP2") and a cassette release ("Spring Patterns"). The tracks from the first half, EP1 and EP2, are based on Jamison's simple yet emotionally rich piano playing, while the delicate pedal steel guitar of Jonathan Anderson of Protection Island Recording Studios, a close collaborator and indispensable engineer for Teen Daze's recent works, adds a touch of color. Of course, his inherent melodic sense is fully on display, creating a beautiful and elegant sound constructed using only the bare minimum of fluid tones and reverberations. Tracks 9 onwards are from the album released as EP1 and EP2, featuring guitar loops recorded in his own studio this spring. Gently spun reverberant guitar phrases and melodies intertwine, creating a colorful guitar ambient soundscape that is both pleasant and tranquil. The album spans from neo-classical music around Erased Tapes to acoustic ambient music like Bibio, and its melodic and atmospheric sound is like the changing seasons, blending seamlessly into the listener's daily life.
