Product Description
Trey Gunn, the touch guitarist and bassist who was a member of King Crimson from the "double trio" formation in 1994 until the "double duo" formation ended in 2003. Bill Rieflin (who passed away in 2020), known as a multi-instrumentalist, joined Crimson from the 2014 reunion tour and played a key role in the triple drumming. And Robert Fripp, the great founder of King Crimson. The 1999 album "The Repercussions of Angelic Behavior," born from the interactive chemistry between these three, is now available for the first time in Japan as a UHQCD paper jacket edition! This album is based on a session that took place after the recording of Bill Rieflin's solo album "Birth of a Giant," with the two musicians joining in. The improvisational and thrilling playing, along with Rieflin's loop-based production, inspired Fripp and influenced later King Crimson spin-off projects. This special edition includes one additional track that was not included in the 1999 release, and features liner notes written by Tragan. The jacket design was created by Rieflin's wife, Francesca Sandsten. Her work has been used in King Crimson tour booklets and posters, and on this album she is credited as CW House. "The title of this recording comes from a painting by Bill's wife, Frankie. When that painting was proposed as the cover art and Robert heard its name, he knew it should be the title. That's how 'The Repercussions of Angelic Behavior' was born." - Trey Gunn
