Product Description Premiata Forneria Marconi (hereinafter abbreviated as PFM), a band that remains at the top of the Italian rock scene, has released an album on UHQCD+DVD featuring their 2003 live performance, which marked their first collaboration with Mauro Pagani, a key member of the band's original lineup! After several years of inactivity, PFM restarted their activities and successfully completed their first performance in Japan in 27 years. Buoyed by this success, the band's next choice was a concert at Piazza del Campo, a famous landmark in Siena, Tuscany. There, they decided to collaborate with Mauro Pagani for the first time in a long time. It was a true reunion between PFM and Pagani. The performance began with "Life is Like a River" from "Photos of Ghosts." Mauro Pagani's vocals can be heard for the first time in decades on "Hans's Carriage," a track from their debut album. The highlight of the second half is the jam number "Siena Violin Jam," which races along with PFM's signature intense technique and imaginative improvisation. Led by Patrick Givas' bass and Walter Carroni's percussion, after a moment of silence, the main set concludes with a solo by Mauro Pagani and their signature rendition of Rossini's "William Tell Overture." The show then culminates in a grand finale with their early hit, "Time for Celebration." The sight of the five members linking arms and greeting the audience at the opening is the first time in 30 years since the "The World Became The World" Tour 1974.
