For him, the title of former Genesis guitarist is no longer necessary; he continues to create progressive rock with high originality and musicality. In July 2025, he is scheduled to perform in Japan for the 10th time in three years. Now, a 3CD+DVD album featuring the Hammersmith Apollo performance from Steve Hackett's 2013 UK tour, coinciding with the release of "Genesis Revisited II," is being released for the first time as a UHQCD! This performance features familiar members who are also in the current Hackett band, such as Roger King (keyboards) and Nadd Sylvan (vocals), as well as artists influenced by Genesis, such as Steve Rothery of Marillion and Jakko Jakszyk, who played in King Crimson, and John Wetton as a guest.
