CJ WILDHEART (Christopher Paul Persode-Jagdal, born December 27, 1967), commonly known as CJ Wildheart, is a British musician with roots in Guyana and Seychelles. He is both a solo artist and a founding member of the rock band "The Wildhearts." CJ formed The Wildhearts with Ginger Wildheart in 1989 and was a member of the band until 2022. They released numerous albums, achieved chart success in the UK, and gained significant support in Japan. CJ was also a founding member of the short-lived band "Honey Crack" with Willie Dowling, also a member of Wildhearts, and served as the frontman for the pop-punk band "The Jellys." Since the mid-1990s, he has continued to work as a solo artist, and his musical style is a fusion of punk, pop, rock, and metal, which could be called "Punk n Roll." His next release in Japan will be a double album, combining his previous solo album "SLOTS" and his latest solo album "DEViL," with five bonus tracks exclusive to Japan. CJ plays and records most of the instruments himself, and the drums on both albums are handled by Jason Bould of Bullet For My Valentine. The mix was handled by CJ himself and Dave Draper.
