"The Forest Kingdom" is a rare relic sealed on crumbling analog tape, harboring the solitude of a forgotten kingdom shrouded in the cold of death, and the soul of an ancient forest. Fjordsson's sonic landscapes reflect the harsh reality of a world stripped bare. The icy breath of winter seeps into every crack, and shadows linger silently in forgotten corners. This album contains previously unreleased recordings made between 2007 and 2017. Recorded using a keyboard and an analog 4-track open-reel tape recorder, these recordings reveal the sorrowful beauty lurking in the depths of the ruins of existence. Fjordsson wanders through a labyrinth of somber sounds, each mournful melody resonating like a wail in the silence.
