Vance K Selection, mixing, and DJ talk are handled by Vance K. A fourth-generation Japanese-American from Hilo, Hawaii Island. After building her career as the No. 1 DJ at KKBG-FM, a Top 40 FM radio station in her hometown of Hilo, she came to Japan in 1993 and has hosted numerous programs on FM Yokohama, TOKYO FM, Inter FM, and other stations. Her lively bilingual talk, captivating music selections, and authentic American DJ style are very popular. Currently, she hosts Inter FM's "Find Your Music!", Radio Nippon's "SWEET!! (SWEET!! Friday Edition)", and Nagoya's MID-FM761's "Hawaiian 8 Cafe". In the past, she has experience as a music selector and program navigator for ANA's in-flight broadcast "Paradise FM" on Hawaii flights. She has also hosted Hawaii events in Japan, as well as "Na Hiva Hiva Hawaii," a joint event between "Merry Monarch" and "Na Hoku Hanohano," two of Hawaii's top hula and music events, making her a highly popular radio DJ among Hawaii enthusiasts. In Japan, he is a familiar face in Hawaii and a prominent figure in FM radio, active in many fields. In addition to his DJ activities, he runs "Ukulele Ohana," a ukulele school where you can enjoy ukulele lessons with Vance K.
