Goat Girl, the four-piece band that emerged from Windmill, the South London venue that has produced a string of exciting bands such as Shame, Idles, Sorry, and Black Country New Road, has released their long-awaited second album, "On All Fours"!! Following their previous work, they once again enlisted Dan Carey, known for his work with Franz Ferdinand and recently working with a succession of up-and-coming bands of the new generation such as Black Midi, Squid, and Fontaines D.C., to produce this album, which was produced in early 2020. Praised by post-punk aristocrat Mark E. Smith, their psychedelic, bluesy, and DIY charm remains intact, but with the addition of euphoric synth sounds from house and techno in the lead single "Sad Cowboy." "The Crack" features a 4/4 beat, grungy and devastatingly powerful guitar riffs, sci-fi keyboards, and an immersive arrangement that makes excellent use of space. In addition to their previous alluring scent and lyricism, this album features 13 tracks in total, showcasing a new, dynamic, and contrasting musical language.
