This is the Kit, the project led by singer-songwriter Kate Stables, born in Winchester, England and now based in Paris, has released 'Off Off On', following her highly acclaimed 2017 best album 'Moonshine Freeze'. Discovered by the brothers Aaron and Bryce Dessner of The National, and praised by Sharon Van Etten and Guy Garvey of Elbow, this talented artist's second album since signing with Rough Trade features Josh Kaufman, who also works as Bonnie Wright Horseman and Maz, as producer. The album's creation began after her participation in the production and tour of The National's album 'I Am Easy To Find' (2019). Featuring the previously released "This is What You Did," this album retains Stables' signature simple yet warm folk sound and gentle vocals, while radiating a rich light and brimming with vitality that keenly senses the pulse and flow of life. It's a truly "On" contemporary folk masterpiece, moving against the tide and standing against the storm, like a lifeline. The Japanese CD edition, released worldwide on October 23rd, 2020 (Friday), includes lyric translations and liner notes, as well as three bonus demo tracks. In addition to the standard CD/LP, a limited-edition red vinyl import version will also be released simultaneously.
