Product Description
Our Starcrawler, who are creating a whirlwind with their explosive and raw rock and roll, have completed their powerful and gorgeous new album! Starcrawler was formed in Los Angeles in 2015 when charismatic vocalist Arrow de Wilde, born to a musician and photographer, met guitarist Henry Cash in high school, and Austin Smith (drums) and Tim Franco (bass) joined them. Starcrawler, who caused a sensation not only around the world but also here in Japan, with their first Japan tour in 2018 supporting their debut album "Starcrawler," selling out all three shows in Tokyo, Nagoya, and Osaka, and performing at Fuji Rock Festival that same year, have now released their second album, "Devour You"! This latest work brilliantly captures and condenses their uncontrollable and aggressive live performances into an album, and with Nick Launay (Nick Cave and the Bad Seeds, Yeah Yeah Yeahs) as producer, they have evolved their sound to retain their rawness and energy while also showing a glimpse of an elegant side not seen in their previous work. With its intricate, meticulous, and hard-hitting sound variations, this album is a collection of hand-picked tracks that exude both raw sensitivity and unrestrained power, a work filled with the excitement of rock and roll, the blood and sweat shed at live shows, and the bruised knees and broken fingers?all those emotions! The Japanese CD edition includes a bonus track: a cover of the Ramones' 1989 single "Pet Sematary," and comes with liner notes and lyric translations. The limited import LP will be released on blood-red marble-colored vinyl in a rose-scented sleeve.
