Despite being a demo recording, inquiries flooded in, leading to the hastily produced EP "Eine gute CD zum Kaufen," which became a local hit. The following year, in 1995, they made their full-fledged entry into the scene with their debut album "Explizite Lyrik." Despite being an independent release, this album achieved exceptional sales and eventually made it onto the German album charts. Their popularity continued to grow with subsequent albums like "Laut!" (1997) and "Meister der Musik" (1998), proving their musical talent beyond mere parody. They are particularly renowned as a live band, performing nearly 100 shows in 1997 and attracting over 100,000 people, solidifying their position in Germany. Now, they are releasing a new album. Their 15th album overall, titled "Haus Of The Rising Fun," can be seen as J.B.O.'s response to the chaotic modern society, packed with humorous, satirical, and energetic tracks.
