Production progressed intermittently from around 2018, with each member accumulating ideas individually even during the pandemic. When they finally came together, they had enough songs to fill a double album. Musically, the band has toned down its traditional symphonic elements somewhat, emphasizing a more raw and dynamic sound. Recorded with Fredrik Nordstr?m as producer, the album avoids excessive digital processing, pursuing an organic and powerful sound that prioritizes a live feel.
