Battle Beast is a heavy metal band that is also very popular here in Japan. They are one of the bands that Finland, a heavy metal powerhouse, is proud of, and although they are veterans formed in 2005, they have had several major milestones in their 20-year career. First, in 2010, they won a local contest for the right to perform at the huge German festival, Wacken Open Air, and then won the main competition, beating out bands from 26 countries. In 2011, they made their album debut with "Steel," but the vocalist left shortly after. In 2012, Noora Louhimo, the female vocalist who is still the face of the band today, joined the band. With her exceptional vocal talent joining the band, Battle Beast became incredibly powerful. Their second album in 2013, aptly titled "Battle Beast," was released by major label Nuclear Blast, and their name became known worldwide. Their third album, "Unholy Savior" (2015), reached number one on the charts in their native Finland. However, that same year, they were hit with a major upheaval when their main composer and guitarist, Anton Kabanen (now of Beast In Black), left the band. But Battle Beast did not give up. With new members joining and an indomitable spirit, they created their fourth album, "Bringer of Pain" (2017), followed by their fifth album, "No More Hollywood Endings" (2019), and "Circus of Doom" (2022), all of which topped the Finnish charts, demonstrating their continued vitality to the world.
