Product Description
Content Introduction London-based producer and singer-songwriter Liza Rowe has finally completed her debut album, after a busy EU/UK tour with Australian indie folk songwriter Harrison Storm and Steph Strings. This album was produced by John Kelly (Paul McCartney, Kate Bush) and herself. Inspired by Beabadoobee, Julia Jacqueline, Men I Trust, and others, Liza's sound lies at the intersection of gentle folk-style instrumentation and indie pop. The track "A Messenger" combines delicate string arrangements with Gotham-esque guitar work, blossoming around Liza's intimate and poetic vocals. "Confiarme" is a track that also features production by Chris Hyson (Jordan Rakey), in which Liza sings calm Spanish vocals over soft fingerpicking. The next track, "What I Used To Do," features Liza's passionate vocals over a warm, country-influenced chord progression and retro-pop-style synths and bass. "Gipsy Hill" evokes a melancholic atmosphere with its acoustic guitar and gentle string arrangements.
