What is the "SNK ARCADE SOUND DIGITAL COLLECTION" series? This project brings to life the sounds of numerous arcade games owned by SNK Corporation, re-recorded on CD with clear sound quality. Volumes 1 through 29 are currently on sale. After a hiatus of approximately four and a half years since the release of Volume 24 in March 2021, the series is being relaunched. Volume 32, the eighth installment of the relaunch, features: "GANGAN March" (ADK (at the time), released in 1994), a fighting action game that garnered attention for its passionate characters and flashy effects such as one-hit kill GANGAN special moves; and "Cross Sword" (SNK, released in 1991), an action game where you fight monsters from a groundbreaking 3D perspective for its time. This 2-CD set features background music from two titles released during the early to mid-period of the NEOGEO. The booklet includes a column by kyo-ji of "FANTOM IRIS," a professional musician unit that composes, arranges, and performs live video game sound.
