What is the 'SNK ARCADE SOUND DIGITAL COLLECTION' series? This project brings to life the sounds of numerous arcade games owned by SNK Corporation, re-recorded on CD with clear sound quality. Volumes 1 through 27 are currently on sale. After a hiatus of approximately four and a half years since the release of Volume 24 in March 2021, the series is being relaunched. Volume 31, the seventh installment of the relaunch, features the vertical-scrolling action game 'Ninja Commando' (Alpha Denshi (at the time), released in 1992), where players challenge merchants of death using a variety of attacks including shots, ninja techniques and special moves activated by command inputs, and beast transformations usable by collecting scrolls. This 2-CD set features the background music from three NEOGEO action titles: RoboArmy (SNK, released 1991), a belt-scrolling action game where you fight the robot army "Hell Zeed" to restore peace; Mutation Nation (SNK, released 1992), a belt-scrolling action game where you defeat mutants lurking in a desolate world with exhilarating combos and special moves; and Ninja Commando (Ninja Commando, released 1991).
