As a composer and pianist, since his debut album "La Chambre Claire" in 2010 (released in Japan in 2011), Quentin Sirjacq has collaborated with various musicians, composed numerous songs, and worked on music for television, film, radio, and documentaries. This album is his latest work, following his debut album "La Chambre Claire" released in Japan in 2011, and is the soundtrack album for the French film "BRIGHT DAYS AHEAD (LES BEAUX JOURS)" (scheduled for release in Japan in 2014). Since the release of his debut work, Quentin Sarjak has captivated a wide range of listeners, from those with a deep understanding of classical, jazz, and contemporary music to those into post-classical and electronica. In this film, he combines elements of French Impressionism, classical music, jazz, and American minimalism?elements he showcases in his previous works?with the new element of film, namely storytelling, resulting in a work that allows viewers to more concretely experience the inner landscapes he envisions. ??The film "BRIGHT DAYS AHEAD" (original title: LES BEAUX JOURS) stars Fanny Ardant, a C?sar Award-winning actress, and is directed by Marion Vernoux, who creates works with a uniquely feminine sensibility. This human drama explores the lifestyle and existence of women after retirement through the lens of romance. Quentin Sarjak's music brilliantly portrays the wavering emotions of mature individuals as they grapple with whether they view the second stage of life, which everyone experiences, as time until the end or as the beginning of new days. About the Artist: Quentin Sirjacq is a French composer and pianist. He studied composition and improvisation at the Royal Conservatory of The Hague and Mills College in Oakland, California. Since the release of his debut album "La Chambre Claire," he has been active as a solo artist and has collaborated with many artists, including Chris Hooson (dakota suite). He has also composed music for numerous television shows, films, and documentaries, including the background music for Marguerite Duras's novel "The Lover," which won the Goncourt Prize and became a worldwide bestseller, broadcast on French radio. He has also composed the soundtracks for the French films "Bright Days Ahead (Les Beaux Jours)" and "Je vais mieux (original title)." As for original works, he released the domestic version of his solo debut album "La Chambre Claire" in 2011 through SCHOLE. The following year, he held his first solo concert in Japan and released his second album "Piano Memories," which was recorded during his stay in Tokyo. In 2016, they released their third original album, "far islands and near places."
