Content Introduction Aiming For Enrike is a Norwegian two-piece duo consisting of guitarist Simen F?lstad Nilsen and drummer Tobias ?rnes Andersen! Despite their minimalist rock band lineup, Aiming For Enrike constantly refines their spectacular sound, mixing incredible playing skills and ideas. This is their fourth album overall, released two years after their breakthrough album "LAS NAPALMAS"! The Japanese edition is a special 2CD set that includes a live album featuring live takes that showcase their true essence, specifically recorded at a concert in Japan! They have already held three large-scale tours in Japan (performing 28 shows), been selected to perform at AFTER HOURS'19, the ultimate post-rock festival organized by MONO, envy, and downy, joined IMAIKE GO NOW, a circuit festival featuring only Japanese bands, and performed at the DENIMS-organized festival ODD Having made a powerful impact in various places across Japan, including their appearance at SAFARI, and continuing to expand their popularity, Japan was the first to catch on to their charm. However, in 2019, they performed at the world-renowned festival ARCTANGENT, embarked on their first full-scale US tour, recorded and released their music on the popular program Audiotree, and announced a 34-show European tour in support of this album in 2020, indicating that a global explosion is imminent! This album is a dynamic fusion of post-rock and dance music unlike anything they've done before, encapsulating their entire evolution, including many songs already performed live and released digitally, such as "Ponzu Saiko," a song born from their past experience in Japan that became a hot topic. Over the past few years, they've made a name for themselves with their overwhelming live performances around the world, but at some point, the misconception arose that their true essence lay only in live shows. However, they've now completed an overwhelming album that completely dispels that misconception! Moving beyond their early noisy and technical approach, they now focus on clubs and dance floors, aiming for functionality, resulting in a more futuristic and funky dance groove that coexists with an overwhelming sense of physicality.
