About the Artist: Formed on December 24, 2011, in Bandung, Indonesia. Inspired by the genre known as 80s Japanese city pop, including artists like Tatsuro Yamashita and Toshiki Kadomatsu, they began their activities to express city pop in their own interpretation. Frontman Muhammad Iqbal writes and composes all of their songs, and the band name ikkubaru (?C?b?N?o??) is a Japanese Romanization of the pronunciation of iqbal. Their sound, which showcases various expressions by switching between Iqbal's high-pitched, sweet vocals and Rizki's soulful vocals, is also a major attraction. In 2019, they made their fifth visit to Japan and performed at ASIAN MUSIC JUNCTION vol.1, hosted by TBS Radio. He also actively provides music, remixes, and collaborates with Japanese artists such as TWEEDEES, Wakita Monari, RYUTist, and Philosophy no Dance.
