This release fully captures the electrifying live show held in support of the album "Living the Dream" (2018). The powerful performance, which directly conveys the dynamism of rock, is truly breathtaking. Slash, who debuted as the guitarist for Guns N' Roses, released his solo album "Slash" in 2010, featuring a variety of guest artists, after his work with Slash's Snakepit and Velvet Revolver. Following this, he toured with Myles Kennedy of Alter Bridge, who participated in that album, as the dedicated vocalist. After its great success, for the next recording, Miles Kennedy enlisted Todd Kearns (bass) and Brent Fitz (drums), who had been touring members with him, as Myles Kennedy & The Conspirators, and the band-style album "Apocalyptic Love" was released in 2012. Slash then released "World on Fire" (2014) with the same members and toured with them, before making a surprise return to Guns N' Roses in 2016 and embarking on a world tour. After his activities with Guns N' Roses came to a close, Frank Sidris, who had been participating as a support guitarist on Slash's tours, became an official member of The Conspirators, and they released "Living the Dream" (2018), their first album in about four years. After touring the US and Canada from September to October 2018, they started another tour in January 2019, beginning in Singapore. Their performances in Osaka and Tokyo, following shows in Thailand and South Korea, are still fresh in our memories. They then traveled to China, New Zealand, and Australia, before visiting Germany, the Czech Republic, Austria, and Poland, culminating in performances in England on February 19th and 20th. This album captures their performance at the Eventim Apollo (formerly Hammersmith Apollo) in London. Starting with "The Call of the Wild," the album primarily features songs from "Living the Dream," but also includes a balanced selection from their other three albums: "Slash," "Apocalyptic Love," and "World on Fire." A cover of Guns N' Roses' "Nightrain" is also included. Miles' powerful vocals and Slash's guitar-driven groove create a performance that embodies the essence of rock, and the immersive sound makes you feel as if the band is playing right in front of you. The flow from the fast-paced "Mind Your Manners" towards the end to the final track "World on Fire," featuring Slash's lengthy guitar solo, is superb, and the band's performances of "Avalon" and the popular "Anastasia" during the encore are also outstanding.
