Content Introduction: Temple Balls, a hard rock and roll band from Finland, has released their long-awaited 2nd album, "Untamed"! Their driving, melodic hard rock tunes have achieved an astonishing scale-up. A super-powerful album that's sure to be a breakthrough is finally here! Temple Balls started in 2009 in Oulu, Finland, with Iri (guitar), Santeri (guitar), Imi (bass), and Antti (drums), as a band with an average age of 14. They would gather after school to play rock covers, and as they began to create originals, their musical style shifted towards hard rock as their playing skills improved. At one point, influenced by Crush Diet, they played pop-metal music in a glam-style fashion with spiky hair and heavy makeup. It was when they participated in a Finnish band contest in 2011 that they encountered the band GUILD OF PASSION. The two bands continued to deepen their friendship through joint performances and other events. In 2013, when Temple Balls' vocalist left, Alde, the vocalist of GUILD OF PASSION, joined the band. With Alde's star-like looks and overwhelming vocal ability, the band powered up considerably, and once they had a collection of original songs, they decided to embark on album production. In May 2016, the band went to Karma Sound Studio in Thailand, owned by producer Tobias Lindell (Europe, H.E.A.T, etc.), and spent about two weeks recording. The completed album, "Traded Dreams," was released in February 2017 (December in Japan). This work, which includes hard rock and roll numbers full of the dynamism of the 80s, is also appealing for its catchy vocal melodies, and its scale, which was unexpected for a new band, became a topic of conversation. After the album's release, Santeri left the band, so they welcomed Nico (guitar), who had previously played with Alde in GUILD OF PASSION. Prior to the Japanese release, they performed at "LOUD & METAL MANIA 2017" held at Shibuya duo MUSIC EXCHANGE on November 10, 2017, delivering a passionate performance. In 2018, after touring Eastern Europe and performing at summer festivals, the band began working on their next album, releasing the single "Kill the Voice" in November. And now, their second album, "Untamed," is complete. Produced by Jonah Tee of H.E.A.T. and engineered by Pasi Kauppinen of Sonata Arctica, "Untamed," like its predecessor, features a collection of lively hard rock tunes based on rock and roll, with a comfortable groove and catchy vocal melodies that are truly impressive. The sound has also been powered up, with thick vocal harmonies and a big drum sound, and the melodies, arrangements, and everything else boasts overwhelming quality. With Alde's outstanding vocal presence and other elements that showcase the band's charm, there is no doubt that Temple Bowles will take another big leap forward with this album.
