"Kings Among Scotland" is Anthrax's latest live album. During the tour supporting their 11th album, "For All Kings," released in 2016, they filmed and recorded at the Barrowland Ballroom in Glasgow, Scotland, a venue that always receives enthusiastic responses, to create this new live album. The concert was divided into two parts. In the first part, the band performed early hits such as "Madhouse," "Be All, End All," "A.I.R.," and "Medusa," as well as newer songs like "Breathing Lightning," "Blood Eagle Wings," and "Evil Twin," all chosen by fan vote. In the second part, they performed their breakthrough third album, "Among the Living," from beginning to end, an endeavor that attracted considerable attention from metalheads worldwide. Seventeen cameras were used to film the event, allowing viewers to enjoy their live performance from a variety of angles. The release also includes interviews with each member and off-stage footage, offering a glimpse into Anthrax's on-the-road presence from numerous perspectives. The artwork is based on KISS's 1976 album "Rock and Roll Over," a band they greatly admire, demonstrating the playful spirit that still thrives in their creative process. From the end of January to the beginning of March 2018, Anthrax toured North America on "THE KILLTHRAX TOUR" with Killswitch Engage as their support band. From May, they are scheduled to participate in the first part of Slayer's final world tour, following their announcement of retirement as a band, alongside Lamb of God, Behemoth, Testament, and others.
