Contents Introduction Panzer, a heavy/power metal band comprised of former Accept, Destruction, and HammerFall members, has completed their second album, "Fatal Command"! They resume their advance with a masterpiece that is even more melodic and powerful than their previous work, "SEND THEM ALL TO HELL"! PANZER means "tank" in German. This band, bearing the name PANZER, started in 2013. It all began when Stefan Schwarzmann (drums), who was then in Accept, and Norbert Mandel, owner of the famous Swiss rock club "Z7," came up with the idea of ??forming a trio band. The two people they approached were Herman Frank (guitar), who, like Stefan, was in ACCEPT at the time, and Schmier (bass/vocals) of DESTRUCTION. When Herman and Schmier heard the idea of ??members from ACCEPT and DESTRUCTION forming a new band, they couldn't help but be surprised. At first, they thought it was a joke, but the moment they realized it wasn't, they both became incredibly enthusiastic. Aiming to fuse ACCEPT-style heavy metal with DESTRUCTION-style thrash metal, they began writing songs from scratch, and the tracks that would be included on their debut album, "SEND THEM ALL TO HELL," were completed one after another. Herman focused on writing in a style slightly different from what he usually played, with a modern touch and leaning towards thrash metal, while Schmier worked on a vocal style different from DESTRUCTION's, focusing on clear melodic lines. The result was a PANZER-style heavy metal sound, similar to but distinct from ACCEPT, and quite different in character from DESTRUCTION. After the album's release in 2015, they began performing live in Germany, Switzerland, and other regions, and to create a thicker sound, they brought in Swiss musician and vocalist Pulver, who had previously played in bands such as GURD, POLTERGEIST, and PULVER, as their second guitarist. However, in 2016, Herman left PANZER due to his busy solo career. The new member who joined the band was their longtime friend, Swedish guitarist Pontus Norggren, who is currently active in HAMMERFALL and has previously played in bands such as TALISMAN, POODLES, and GREAT KING RAT. PANZER, now a four-member band, began writing songs for their second album, quickly completed the recording, and are now releasing their latest work, "FATAL COMMAND." As the artwork suggests, this album, titled "Fatal Command," deals with the current tense global situation. Musically, it is heavier, more powerful, and more melodic than their previous work, showcasing PANZER's further evolution.
