Content Introduction The Dead Daisies, the supergroup that demonstrated their live band prowess at "LOUD PARK 16," have released their live album "Live & Louder," capturing their UK and European tour in support of their album "Make Some Noise" (2016)! The Dead Daisies were formed in Sydney, Australia in 2012. Founding member John Stevens (vocals) is a successful member of the pop-rock band Noiseworks. The other member, David Lowy (guitar), is a guitarist who played in bands such as The Angels and Red Phoenix. The Dead Daisies started as a project by these two, and debuted with their first album, "The Dead Daisies" (2013), recorded in LA with session musicians. This album is known for Guns N' Roses' Slash co-writing songs and playing guitar as a guest, but the tour featured Guns N' Roses' Richard Fortus (guitar), Dizzy Reed (keyboards), and Frank Ferrer (drums), as well as Marco Mendoza (bass), formerly of Blue Murder and Whitesnake. The band went through several member changes during their long tour, and John Stevens also left in 2015. With former M?tley Cr?e member John Corabi (vocals) and Brian Tichy (drums) as replacements, the band released their second album, "Revolution" (2015). After the release of "Revolution" (2015), they toured in Europe and America as support for Kiss and Whitesnake, but then the Guns N' Roses members left when Slash and others began touring with them. With Doug Aldrich (guitar) joining the band, the five-member lineup of John Corabi, David Lowy, Marco Mendoza, and Brian Tichy released their third album, "Make Some Noise" (2016). This album, featuring dynamic numbers based on 70s hard rock, led to a US tour with Kiss, a performance at Japan's "LOUD PARK 16," and UK and European tours. This live album, "Live & Louder," captures the UK and European tour. Half of the tracks on "Live & Louder" are from "Make Some Noise," making it a fitting introduction to the newly formed The Dead Daisies with Doug Aldrich. The band's performance, centered around Doug's driving guitar playing and John Corabi's soulful, powerful vocals, is full of the essence of hard rock, and includes covers of "Helter Skelter" (The Beatles) and "American Band" (Grand Funk). This album fully showcases the charm of this live band, who are scheduled to perform a solo show in Japan in July 2017.
