This sixth album, while inheriting the tradition of classic rock, showcases further maturity and sophistication. The Answer is a blues-hard rock band from Northern Ireland, UK. Since their formation in 2000, they have maintained the same lineup: Cormac Neeson (vocals), Paul Mahone (guitar), Mickey Waters (bass), and James Heatley (drums). They made their album debut in 2006 with "RISE," which was highly acclaimed in the UK, continental Europe, and Japan, becoming an exceptional hit for a debut album, selling 100,000 copies. Their music has captivated many big names in the rock scene, leading to opportunities to open for bands such as Deep Purple, Aerosmith, Whitesnake, and AC/DC. In particular, their long tours with AC/DC in 2008 and 2009 had a significant impact on reaching a wider audience. Former Led Zeppelin member Jimmy Page has publicly declared himself a huge fan of The Answer and has attended their shows numerous times. Furthermore, in December 2007, former Free/Bad Company member Paul Rodgers made a surprise appearance on stage, having the honor of performing Free's "I'm a Mover" and "The Hunter" alongside the legendary musician. A recording of that show was released in October 2008 as the CD "LIVE AT PLANET ROCK XMAS PARTY," limited to 1,500 copies. Having made a promising start with their debut album "RISE," they have continued to consistently release albums and tour, releasing works such as "EVERYDAY DEMONS" (2009), "REVIVAL" (2011), "NEW HORIZON" (2013), and "RAISE A LITTLE HELL" (2015). In 2011, they released the documentary/live DVD "412 DAYS OF ROCK'N'ROLL," which was filmed during their tour with AC/DC. The album to be released now, "SOLAS," is their sixth studio album.
