About the Artist: Spice of Life released its first Swedish jazz CD in November 2001. Sweet Jazz Trio's "Very Swedish" and "Soft & Quiet" were released simultaneously. To commemorate this, they came to Japan and held a "Swedish Jazz Evening" at the Swedish Embassy. For the past 18 years, Sweet Jazz Trio has been instrumental in introducing excellent Nordic jazz works to Japan. Their "warm, fireplace-like jazz" has greatly captivated Japanese standard jazz fans. As the title suggests, this album is, unfortunately, their last. This is due to the progression of leader Lasse Thunqvist's Parkinson's disease, which has made it difficult for him to play his instrument as he wishes. It is with great sadness that their activities have come to an end. We hope you will enjoy this final album, which they have delivered for their Japanese fans, along with the deepening autumn nights.
