About the Artists: The long-awaited second installment of the "American Standards" series by a leading Swedish veteran pianist features tenor saxophone star Scott Hamilton as a special guest. Klaes Krona has been an important band member for Swedish jazz legends Putte Wickman (Cl) and Arne Domneras (As). He has served as the pianist for Swedish tours by artists such as Benny Goodman, Lee Konitz, Stan Getz, and Red Mitchell, and has also participated in the European tour of Scott Hamilton, who is participating as a special guest on this occasion. Since moving to New York in 1976, Scott Hamilton has quickly come into the spotlight with his captivating tenor sound and soulful melodies, gaining many fans as a popular tenor saxophonist and establishing a solid position with his mature playing.
