Product Description
Content Introduction The early dream pop masterpiece by the bilinda butchers, which had been out of print on both CD and vinyl, is being repressed for the first time in approximately 11 years! The bilinda butchers are one of San Francisco's most important indie pop acts. Their fragile indie pop blends C86, shoegaze, and chillwave, with poignant melodies and a colorful, watercolor-like feel! This bedroom indie band, consisting of michal and adam, based in San Francisco, takes its name from Bilinda of My Bloody Valentine. Their cover of The Pains of Being Pure at Heart's "This Love Is Fucking Right!", released on the digital single label Beko (which also releases music by Memoryhouse and Million Young), became a hot topic among indie and twee pop fans. The masterpiece EP "regret, love, guilt, dreams," previously only released digitally, is finally getting its first CD release as a 9-track mini-album with a Japan-exclusive release! From the C86/Sarah Records-esque indie pop of "all the friends," to the soul-pop of "tulips" with its pleasant oriental ambient guitar riffs, to the disco-feeling "stevie nicks" comparable to The Embassy and Work Drugs, the sound, praised for being like watching watercolors slowly spread, shines with a brilliance that can be called the definitive example of fragile indie pop of the 2010s. CD release only in Japan.
