About the Artist: A four-piece pop-punk band from Liverpool, England, consisting of Sammy Clifford (Vo), Tom Hawkes (Gt), Alex Tobijanski (Ba), and Andy Makin (Dr). Formed in 2015, they signed with the American indie label No Sleep Records, which has released bands like THE WONDER YEARS and TOUCH? AMOR?, and released their EP 'SKRWD' that same year. In 2017, they released their debut full-length album, "Red, Green Or Inbetween," which was highly acclaimed by many pop-punk fans. The band steadily gained recognition not only in the UK but also in the US and Europe, and in June 2018, they announced a contract with Hopeless Records, a popular American indie label home to bands like SUM41, NEW FOUND GLORY, and NECK DEEP, as well as the release of their new album, "Identity Crisis." Seb Barlow (NECK DEEP, AS IT IS, etc.) produced the album, as with their previous work, and while retaining WSTR's signature catchy pop-punk sound with hooks, they have also incorporated edgy riffs and a heavier sound, showing growth from their previous work and creating a masterpiece that is diverse within the pop-punk genre. With the release of this work, they are sure to make a significant impact on the UK pop-punk scene, which is currently led by their close friends NECK DEEP and AS IT IS.
