WALKING TO THE BEAT [Bonus Track] 8. WALKING TO THE BEAT (Australian Single Edit) Yukihiro Takahashi's 6th solo album from 1984, remastered and reissued! The third installment of the reissue series "Yukihiro x Yukihiro EARLY 80s," which shines a light on Yukihiro Takahashi's solo work from the early 1980s. "WILD & MOODY" is his 6th album (1984) and his final original solo album released on the "YEN label." In contrast to his previous work, "Barairo no Ashita" (Rose-Colored Tomorrow), which featured mostly mellow songs with about half of the lyrics in Japanese, this album features all-English lyrics and a prominent aggressive digital funk sound, suggesting a renewed determination to break into the global market. Tracks 2, 7, and 8 feature Iva Davis of the popular Australian band Icehouse. Steve Jansen (formerly of JAPAN), who considers Takahashi his mentor, provided the lyrics for track 2. Track 4 is a cover of Neil Young's famous song from Crosby, Stills, Nash & Young's "D?j? Vu" (1970). This reissue is in SA-CD hybrid format with remastering by Yoshinori Sunahara. Includes one bonus track.
